THE UNITED STATES REFERENCE MANUAL:
Starting in 1992, we have been producing Manual Pages for selected issues and areas of interest. The popularity of the feature within Mekeel’s Weekly prompted us to reproduce those pages in a separate Manual and by the year 2000 we had more than 600 pages.
However, changes in technology led to the need to digitalize more than 1,000 images that were included in the Manual—a project that had to be shelved until more time was available. That time has arrived, and in the months ahead we will gradually re-issue updated pages one section at a time.
The Stamp News United States Reference Manual currently is the only loose-leaf reference work available for U.S. stamps. Through this easy-to-change format we are able to make corrections in and updates to previous pages as they were originally published. In this way you can possess what will be the most accurate and up-to-date information source available in any one philatelic publication.
